We are delighted that on 10th June 2026 we turned 3 years old! We have released our latest impacts and importantly given our volunteers the opportunity to express their honest views of their experience of Braw Tea. You can find these on our Impacts Tab here- https://www.brawtea.co.uk/impact
In short:
- 18 former volunteers now work at the cafe as p/t baristas, front of house and kitchen staff!
- At time of writing (June 2026) 96 women have completed their Food Hygiene Training and gained a qualification. This is funded by Braw Tea directly.
- 24 other women got jobs with other employers or went onto college and university thanks to our supportive training and live experience
- 24 women have now been supported through our mental health wellbeing programme either in our 6 week Mental Health wellbeing programme or through individual professional independent counselling. This programme is kindly supported by NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation and all the women have rated the programme 10/10.
- THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTS US- not only as customers, but as supporters with resources, time, professional guidance and expertise and financial support. We have been incredibly humbled by the community we have created within and around Braw Tea.
